Shane McConkey 1969-2009

Shane McConkey died today while ski-base jumping in the Dolomite mountains of Italy. While filming for an upcoming Matchstick Productions movie, Shane skied off a cliff and was unable to release one of his bindings. He became inverted and was unable to deploy his parachute, went into a spin and died on impact.
