Rome Smith Boots   Rome this year brought the Rome Smith Boot to new heights. The Smith Boot incorporates a new technology by Rome, the lockable zonal lacing. For those always having their laces coming undone and trying to make their boots tight to fit, the Rome Smith is perfect. When testing this boot I noticed how easy it was to get on and off. Not only the ease of on and off, but off quickly and easily I was able to get the Smith Boot tight to my foot. When walking around the shop with this guy I felt that I was wearing a shoe rather than a snowboard boot. No doubt this was helped by two technologies created by Rome. The first, TriZone Lining, made my ankle felt like it was wrapped in a bed of pillows. The second, Lace-up ConFormist.1 Liner, which helped the boot form to my foot rather than being loose.
