  3. Set your asking price, or ask us for pricing guidance.
  4. We tag, transport and display it.
  5. If it does not sell, it travels to the remaining tour stops.
  6. When it sells, you get paid.
Around 90% of swap items sell during the season.
What are the seller deadlines?
Equipment must be dropped off by 6 PM on the Thursday before the event.
  • Oct. 10-11 Ann Arbor: Oct. 8
  • Oct. 17-18 Mishawaka: Oct. 15
  • Oct. 24-25 Lansing: Oct. 22
  • Nov. 7-8 Plymouth: Nov. 5

What gear do you accept?
We accept skis, snowboards, ski and snowboard boots, bindings, ski poles and current race equipment in safe condition.

We do not accept helmets, recalled products, broken equipment or gear our staff determines is unsafe.
Who decides my selling price?
You do.

You ultimately set the asking price. If you're not sure what your gear is worth, our staff can help guide you toward a realistic price.
What are the seller fees?
Sun & Snow retains 25% of the selling price. You receive 75%.

Checks are available the Thursday following the event where your item sells. Checks can be mailed for a $1 mailing fee.
What if my gear doesn't sell?
Unsold equipment automatically travels to the remaining Midwest Swap Tour events.

Early pulls can only be completed on the Sunday of an event while our team is reloading.

After the final event, remaining equipment must be claimed by February 1, 2027. Unclaimed gear is donated to charity.
Is Quick Pass required?
No. Quick Pass is optional and is for shoppers only. Walk-ins are always welcome during normal swap hours.
Will someone help me choose the right gear?
Absolutely. That's what makes our swap different.

Our staff helps determine the appropriate size and equipment based on the skier or rider instead of leaving you to figure everything out yourself.
Can you help fit boots?
Yes. Our staff helps size and fit ski and snowboard boots before you buy.
Can you set up bindings?
Our technicians can perform binding setup and related services for an additional fee when the equipment is compatible and serviceable.
Can I return a swap purchase?
Swap sales are final. That's another reason we encourage shoppers to work with our staff before making a purchase.
Do you accept race gear?
Yes. We accept current race equipment that is in safe condition. Our staff can also help with pricing.
