What are the seller deadlines?
Equipment must be dropped off by 6 PM on the Thursday before the event.
We accept skis, snowboards, ski boots, snowboard boots, bindings, poles and current race equipment in safe condition. We do not accept helmets, recalled products, broken equipment or anything our staff determines is unsafe.
Who sets the price and what are the fees?
You set the asking price. Our staff can help with guidance. Sun & Snow retains 25% of the selling price and you receive 75%. Checks are available the Thursday following the event where your item sells.
What if my gear doesn't sell?
Unsold equipment automatically travels to the remaining Midwest Swap Tour events. Most sellers leave their equipment with us for the full tour. After the final event, remaining gear must be claimed by February 1, 2027.
Will someone help me choose and fit gear?
Absolutely. That's the point. Our staff helps determine appropriate equipment and sizing for the skier or rider, including ski and snowboard boot fit.
Is Quick Pass required?
No. Quick Pass is optional and is for shoppers only. Walk-ins are always welcome during normal Swap Tour hours.
What about bindings and returns?
Our technicians can perform compatible binding setup and related services for an additional fee. Swap purchases are final, which is another reason we encourage shoppers to work with our staff before buying.
