Why Our Tunes Feel Different

  • Zero’ing the ski: We grind edge-to-edge back to perfectly flat before structure or angles.
  • Ceramic Polishing Module: Burr-free, mirror-smooth edges straight off the machine. No need for hand deburring.
  • V-Edge® Variable Angles: Sharper underfoot for grip, mellower at tip & tail for smooth turns.
  • 0.1° accuracy: SL 0.5°; GS 0.7–0.75°; All Mountain 1.0°+; side at 2°/3°
  • Consistency: Remember your edge angles for exact precision with each future tune.

Which Tune Do I Need?

  • Quick Tune: Great for casual skiers or kids heading up north — fresh edges and wax.
  • Full Tune: If bases look white/dry or it’s been 5+ ski days, this is your reset.
  • Performance Tune: For aggressive all-mountain skiers and beer-league racers who notice speed and grip.
  • Race / Rip Tune: We zero the ski, add V-Edge®, set bevels to the tenth, and ceramic-polish for a race-room finish.
  • V-Edge® Upgrade: Add to any tune for stronger grip underfoot and smoother tip/tail release.

V-Edge® Variable Edge Tuning

With our Wintersteiger Jupiter, we grind variable angles along the ski: aggressive underfoot for bite, milder at the ends for easy turn initiation and release.
